We invite all participants wishing to attend the congress to register online. All participants include students and researchers, economic and tourist operators with or without an exhibition stand for their products, representatives of institutions and the general public. This registration will be used to cover catering costs during the congress. Please read the important notes below carefully. The registration deadline is December 05, 2019 at midnight.


  1. Online registration is required for all participants who wish to attend the congress.
  2. The registration fee is 100,000 Ariary (One Hundred Thousand Ariary) and is payable either via Orange money or by bank transfer.
  3. For professionals and economic operators, stands will be available for rent at a cost of 200,000 Ariary (Two hundred thousand Ariary) for the 3-day congress. (Optional)
  4. Payment of these fees is required to confirm your registration. It is highly suggested to do it the day of your online registration.
  5. Any related cost during the transfer of the registration fee are the responsibility of the participants and should not be deducted from the net fees payable to the congress. The amount of those fees will be notified at before of payment process.
  6. If you choose to proceed to the payment through orange money, please do the transfer to this number:

    N.B: On the purpose of the transfer, please write your full name preceded by the letter I when transferring the registration fee and your full name preceded by the letter S when transferring the stand rental (example: I_Rabe Tsitohaina or S_Rabe Tsitohaina)

The Group of Malagasy Baobab Experts and Enthusiasts, "GSPBM" is a non-profit, scientific, technical and non-political association. It has been created to contribute to the protection, conservation and sustainable use of the world's baobab species and their ecosystems.
